I was 13 he was playing for Arsenal at the time... his son Chris was playing for us. I think I might have attempted one tackle on him...

My earliest memory of him as a kid was when he managed Chelsea in the mid to late 80s.

Through watching the Big match revisited episodes on ITV4 I have seen him quite a few times playing for QPR & Arsenal and he looked like a decent player.

Interestingly while he was born in England and won an England cap, his older brother was born in Wales and played for Wales as a Goalkeeper.
